About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a vital role in designing and ensuring the stability of buildings and other structures. Your work will involve applying your knowledge of physics, mathematics, and engineering principles to create safe and efficient designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze structural loads and stresses
  • Develop detailed design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Prepare technical reports and drawings
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers
  • Adhere to building codes and regulations

Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Creativity and innovative thinking

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C (9-4) and 2 A Levels or equivalent qualifications are required. Further education in construction, civil engineering, or structural engineering is highly advantageous.
