Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering design solutions for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical leadership and direction of structural engineering design projects
  • Client-facing and business development skills, with a focus on growing our regional structural engineering capability
  • Line management and technical development of our structural engineering team
  • Client and stakeholder interface, including coordination and management of other discipline inputs into projects
  • Financial responsibility for the structural fee on projects
Requirements:
  • Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects
  • Extensive postgraduate experience in major structural engineering building projects, including experience of producing low embodied carbon solutions
  • Proven track record in design delivery, with specific experience of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber designs
  • Detailed knowledge of design codes and standards relating to structural engineering
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate others
