About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Lincoln. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 support to a young adult with a diagnosis of EUPD and Sensory Processing Disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores.
- Support the individual in developing their interests and hobbies, including dancing and swimming.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and risk assessments.
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in social care, preferably in mental health and with supporting individuals with EUPD.
- Ability to provide encouragement and support to individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities.
- Experience in implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
- Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
