Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Care Manager at VP Complex Care, you will be responsible for managing a combination of different care packages and clients living in their own homes. This will involve:

  • Rota management to ensure efficient delivery of care services
  • Risk assessment and care planning to meet individual client needs
  • Supervision and appraisal of staff to maintain high standards of care
  • Client visits, spot checks, and care reviews to ensure quality of care
  • Development of new care packages from local authority and private case management companies
  • Supporting compliance of our field staff to maintain high standards of care
  • Showing motivation and commitment to the role and encouraging this within the teams you are responsible for managing
  • Supporting complaint handling and problem solving to maintain the quality of care we deliver to our clients
  • Monitoring support packages, including reviewing support worker documentation
  • Guiding staff through their own professional development
  • Communicating effectively with our clients, their families, staff teams, and our colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team
  • Participating in the on-call rota

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working within a complex care agency (1 year)
  • NVQ level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care
  • Good communication skills, both with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivation and personal drive, with a team player attitude
  • Able to work on own initiative and react positively to changing working practices and environment

What We Offer:

As a Field Care Manager at VP Complex Care, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, with a competitive salary range of £24,000 - £26,000 p.a.
