Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our team at Buckie Lifeboat Station. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our lifeboats and other equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order and ready for service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair lifeboats and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify any potential issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of lifeboat maintenance and repair
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid driving license
