About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and personable individual to join our team as a Night Worker (Building Supervisor) in our supported accommodation buildings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, who are aged 16-25 and have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the building is safe and secure for residents, including conducting health and safety checks and walk-arounds throughout your shift.
  • Liaise with support staff to ensure a smooth handover of information between shifts.
  • Engage with residents who may need someone to listen to them, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Undertake light maintenance duties to ensure the building remains clean, tidy, and presentable.
  • Defuse any situations that may affect the health, safety, or well-being of residents, using sound judgment to resolve issues or seek support from peers and emergency services if needed.
