Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to improve plant uptime and equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment failures and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
- Participate in safety initiatives and training programs to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and reliability engineering.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
