We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Specialist Practitioner to join our Transformation Unit team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This exciting opportunity will involve providing expert care to patients undergoing SACT in various clinical environments, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in oncology at band 7 or above, with a proven track record of autonomous practice and leadership in their field.
**Responsibilities:*
- To autonomously manage patients undergoing SACT, utilizing specialist skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
- To assess individuals and families using person-centered approaches, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing management plans.
- To use clinical-reasoning skills to undertake in-depth assessments, interpret findings, and formulate management plans.
- To promote value-based decision making, critically evaluating and applying knowledge and skills in a person-centered way.
Key Requirements:
- Registered Practitioner (NMC, HCPC)
- Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Advanced Communication Skills
- Psychological Level 2 training
- Teaching and Assessing qualification
- Management Qualification
- IRMER Certificate
Estimated Salary Range: £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, depending on experience.
