About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the Occupational Therapy Service across our CAMHS and Adult services.

As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be working closely with our therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our service users. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions to help our service users achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and you will need to be highly adaptable and able to work effectively in a team. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with our service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Occupational Therapy Service across our CAMHS and Adult services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our service users
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to help our service users achieve their goals
  • Work closely with our therapy team to develop and implement new therapies and interventions
  • Communicate effectively with our service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • At least 3 years post-qualifying experience
  • Substantial experience of working within Mental Health, preferably with both CAMHS and Adult experience
  • Substantial experience of inpatient work
