About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Math teacher to join our team at Marvellous Kensington Secondary School. As a Mathematics educator, you will play a key role in shaping the academic future of our students.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a qualified and passionate teacher who can deliver high-quality math lessons to students aged 11-18.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teaching Math: Deliver engaging and effective math lessons aligned with the curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  2. Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student achievement.
  3. Preparing Students for Assessments: Prepare students effectively for examinations and other assessments, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed.
  4. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the math curriculum, ensuring that it remains relevant and effective.
  5. Collaboration with Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in math, along with proven experience teaching math in a secondary school setting.
  • Subject Knowledge and Pedagogy: Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills are essential, with the ability to apply innovative teaching practices.
  • Classroom Management and Interpersonal Skills: Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills are required, enabling the teacher to create a productive and respectful learning environment.
  • Professional Development and Passion: A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for inspiring young minds are crucial.
