Job Title: Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Flourish Fostering. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Manage and monitor cash flows to ensure financial stability.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Control:
    • Implement and maintain financial checks and balances.
    • Develop internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity.
  • Budgeting and KPIs:
    • Lead the budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets.
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant audit, accounting, and tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role, ideally in a PE backed company.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning, and financial analysis.
  • Financial modelling.
  • M&A experience would be beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of IT systems related to finance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
