The Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Divisional Financial Controller to join a private equity-backed renewable energy business. This role will provide strategic financial leadership to the divisional management team, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and driving performance improvements and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives, supporting the management team in achieving divisional goals
  • Lead the annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Provide insightful financial and operational information and analysis to the Executive team
  • Partner with the Divisional Managing Director and their direct reports to manage performance against the strategic plan, driving growth and enhancing business performance
  • Support the CFO in fostering a finance business partnering culture within the division
  • Manage shareholder relationships and provide timely information to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with divisional leaders to evaluate and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives
  • Serve as a respected and trusted member of the senior management team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in high-growth environments, leading diverse projects and work streams
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in a commercial finance role
  • Experience in private equity or entrepreneurial businesses
  • A hands-on role as the sole finance support to the division, with the ability to directly influence business performance
  • Commercially minded, capable of connecting financial objectives with operational outcomes
