Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel London Heathrow. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service Preparation: Ensure that food and beverage service preparation levels are prepared as directed by Shift Leaders/Supervisors, in line with forecast business levels.
  • Operational Tasks: Effectively carry out operational tasks delegated by higher levels of the operational structure, ensuring seamless execution of duties.
  • Quality Service Delivery: Deliver a quality service that exceeds customer service standards, as measured by Guest Satisfaction Surveys and reports, and in line with Company core Brand Standard manuals.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Understand the importance of teamwork in providing high standards of customer service and maintaining operational consistency throughout all F&B departments.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain and continually develop product knowledge to ensure maximization of guest satisfaction and profit, and be knowledgeable about all of the hotel's facilities/products, actively promoting them.
  • Sales and Promotions: Take a proactive approach to the development and actioning of sales, promotions, and departmental operational controls to achieve required financial goals.
  • Operational Systems and Procedures: Uphold all departmental operational systems and procedures to maintain accurate accountability.
  • Cash and Key Security: Ensure that all cash and key security procedures are adhered to at all times, as per the hotel policy.
  • Health and Safety: Apply legal and local Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all associates.
  • Departmental Goals and Targets: Be aware of departmental goals and targets, and be committed to increasing departmental profits.
  • Team Motivation: Effectively promote teamwork by providing the highest quality service to internal customers, motivating and supporting other associates to ensure job satisfaction is maintained and constantly improved, as measured by the Company Engagement Survey.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proactive, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
