Job Title: Senior Real-Time 3D Artist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Real-Time 3D Artist to join our in-house 3D team at Hidden Creative Ltd. Based in Manchester City Centre, we offer a unique opportunity to work with global iconic engineering brands on cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Unreal Engine's full suite of world-building tools to create high-quality content for video and interactive projects.
  • Model optimized assets from hard surface to photorealistic environmental elements.
  • Contribute to the R&D pipeline and maintain a strong knowledge of the latest tools and processes.
  • Author shaders and textures for assets.
  • Set cameras, block lighting, and shoot scenes.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to implement the Producer or Creative Director's vision.
  • Create convincing Real-Time VFX throughout all stages of the development process.
  • Maintain consistently high-quality visuals across a range of effects.
  • Optimize effects to run efficiently while maintaining high visual quality.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve workflow and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of production experience in commercial pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unreal Engine, with proficiency in Unity.
  • Knowledge of shaders and texturing.
  • Experience in basic animation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Substance Painter and Designer.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven understanding of Maya in a professional capacity.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player or independently.
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to problem-solve when needed.
  • Passionate, high energy levels, conveying enthusiasm, and demonstrating a drive to succeed.
