We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to join our team in Teddington.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in ultrasound and underwater acoustics, identifying opportunities for commercialization.
- Develop and improve acoustic modeling techniques to enhance measurements made using NPL's specialized laboratory facilities.
- Develop and apply advanced data analysis techniques for experimental data derived from ocean acoustic measurements.
- Contribute to collaborative research projects with NPL's partners, both nationally and internationally.
- Lead the technical work of NPL projects, including proposal development and supervision of junior staff.
- Contribute to scientific output through publications and conferences, and represent the UK on technical standards committees.
- Represent NPL to promote our work and raise our profile.
- Craft winning bids in line with NPL's growth strategy.
- Work collaboratively to develop partnership opportunities.
- Present NPL's work at conferences and in scientific papers.
