Sales Growth Specialist

As a Sales Executive at Onbuy, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our seller base and driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, engage, and onboard high-quality sellers in target verticals or product categories.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement a sales strategy to identify, engage, and onboard high-quality sellers in target verticals or product categories.
- Lead Generation: Utilize LinkedIn and other relevant platforms to identify, connect, and engage with potential leads within the target market.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on potential sellers, including their product offerings, target audiences, and competitive positioning, to tailor pitches and value propositions accordingly.
- Network Building: Build and maintain a strong network of connections to expand the reach and visibility of our online marketplace.
- Sales Enablement: Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs, educate them about our products/services, and effectively communicate the value proposition.
- Sales Process Optimization: Utilize automated appointment booking tools to schedule and manage sales meetings, and follow-up discussions with potential clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with ongoing campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback to the Director of Sales Operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, meetings, and outcomes, in the company's CRM system.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and optimise sales scripts, email templates, and other collateral based on feedback and performance data.
- Industry Knowledge: Continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sales techniques to refine your sales strategies and approaches.
- Account Management: Work closely with the account management team to ensure a seamless handoff of new sellers and provide input on strategies to drive their long-term success on the platform.
- Industry Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Proven Sales Track Record: Proven track record of success in a sales role, selling to retailers/e-tailers/B2B (preferably within the e-commerce or online marketplace industry).
- Strategic Partnership Experience: Experience in developing and leveraging strategic partnerships to drive lead generation and expand the seller network.
- Digital Lead Generation: Proficient in leveraging LinkedIn and other digital platforms for lead generation and sales prospecting.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of leads and concurrent sales cycles.
- Tech Savviness: Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches and negotiate effectively.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of self-motivation and target-driven mindset.
- Sales Performance: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets within a competitive market.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Desirable Skills:
- Partnership Development: Experience in winning new partnerships and expanding existing partnerships to drive seller acquisition and GMV growth.
- Automation Tools: Strong understanding of automated appointment booking tools and CRM systems to streamline the sales process.
- Lead Generation Tools: Experience with LinkedIn automation, lead generation tools, and contact information tools.
- Ai Tools: Experience with using Ai tools, or other advanced tools to speed up lead generation.
- E-commerce Platform APIs: Experience with e-commerce platform APIs and integrations to better understand and communicate technical requirements to potential sellers.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, PLUS uncapped monthly commission. In return for your hard work, you'll receive company equity, meaning you'll own a piece of this business we're all working so hard to build.
