Procurement Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Agent to join our Aircraft Support team at Boeing. As a key member of our Vertical Lift Supplier Management and Procurement team, you will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts for products, services, and technologies.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure program, customer, product, and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Optimize execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders, and schedule demand.
- Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance.
- Mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies.
- Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements.
- Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documentation of contracts and agreements.
- Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- Manage Boeing Drawings and Engineering data to aid suppliers for manufacture.
Requirements
- Adaptable and creative problem solver with the ability to liaise and work alongside functional subject areas to develop and form the strategic supply chain approach.
- Must have had a continuous or combined break in employment lasting at least 12 months.
- Strong and effective communication.
- Customer focus.
- Analytical skills and tool development for sustainability initiatives.
- High attention to detail and consistent track record to lead multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering background preferred and/or knowledge of estimating, technical drawing understanding.
- CIPS Accreditation.
