About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and organized individual to oversee the Product Development and Production process. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the PD and Production team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and executing the design vision within tight deadlines and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the PD and Production team, overseeing all aspects of operations, including raw material sourcing, product development, production, and on-time deliveries.
  • Supervise the Product Development, Sourcing, and Production process from sketch to delivery across multiple overseas suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the design vision is well-executed, at a high standard, and key dates are met.
  • Liaise regularly with Merchandising, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to update status and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to and lead on the sourcing and supplier strategy.
  • Proactively address PD and Production issues and support the team to resolve them.
  • Understand supplier capabilities, material, and production challenges, and support in finding solutions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring adherence to critical path, while delivering exceptional quality.
  • Monitor department KPIs against the plan, ensuring we achieve our goals.
  • Continually source new suppliers for improved innovation, quality, price, and delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers globally.
  • Strive to extend product life, supporting the brand to become market leaders in product longevity.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and sustainable practices, integrating them into our sourcing and production strategies to drive innovation and social responsibility.

About You
