As a dynamic company, Strathberry is looking for a Senior Product Development (PD) and Production Manager to join its growing team in Edinburgh.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage the PD and Production team, overseeing all aspects of operations, including raw material sourcing, product development, production, and on-time deliveries.
* Supervise the Product Development, Sourcing, and Production process from sketch to delivery across multiple overseas suppliers.
* Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the design vision is well executed, at a high standard, and key dates are met.
* Regularly liaise with Merchandising, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to update status and meet deadlines.
* Contribute and lead on sourcing and supplier strategy.
* Proactively address PD and Production issues and support the team to resolve them.
* Understand supplier capabilities, material, and production challenges, and support in finding solutions.
* Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring adherence to critical path, while delivering exceptional quality.
* Monitor department KPIs against the plan, ensuring we achieve our goals.
* Continually source new suppliers for improved innovation, quality, price, and delivery.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers globally.
* Strive to extend product life, supporting the brand to become market leaders in product longevity.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and sustainable practices, integrating them into our sourcing and production strategies to drive innovation and social responsibility.

**Requirements:**

* Significant experience (10 years+) in a similar role, with experience of managing small teams.
* Experienced in PD and Production, ideally within the luxury leather goods sector.
* Able to adapt well to change, and experienced working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
* Strong communication skills, highly motivated, and driven for success.
* Highly organized and able to juggle competing priorities, with fantastic attention to detail.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional who is passionate about luxury leather goods and has a strong background in product development and production. Please note that this role is full-time, based in Edinburgh, and we operate a hybrid model of blended home (2 days) and office working (3 days) from our Head office in Edinburgh city centre. Regular travel will also be required to attend trade fairs and meet suppliers.
