Regional Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director at FirstPort, a leading property management company in the UK. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high profile within our developments and offices, ensuring that our residents meet our requirements. This includes conducting daily checks to ensure the building's safety and security, maintaining records, and protecting sensitive data. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing contractors, monitoring progress, and signing off completed works.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain a high profile around the development/office, ensuring our residents are checked within our requirements.
- Conduct daily checks to ensure the building is safe and secure, maintain records in line with internal procedures, and ensure all data is protected and kept secure at all times.
- Manage all works being completed, raise orders, manage contractors, monitor progress, and sign off completion.
- Encourage and support the formation of a Residents Association, working with them to enhance the customer experience for residents, helping build a sense of community by encouraging and supporting a Social Committee to plan and run social events for all residents.
- Build and maintain links with residents' family members, local authorities.
- In the event of an emergency, call the appropriate response team or authorities.
- Assist with sales listed with our partner company Retirement Homesearch, make new residents feel welcome, and help them settle in.
- Work across your local peer team of Development Managers for advice and day-to-day support, and travel to team/company meetings on a monthly/annual basis.
- Communication - a natural communicator, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively.
- IT - able to operate Microsoft Office applications, and confident in learning new systems.
