About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Toby Carvery - Morley. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, leading by example, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality food.
  • Train and develop your team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Support the Head Chef in food ordering, preparation, and stock control.
  • Ensure that your team adheres to health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Contribute to the development of menus and promotions that drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety protocols.
