About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team at Haven. As a key member of our Food & Beverage Shift Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of our restaurant's kitchen, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages, adhering to our company's standards and procedures.
  • Assist in delivering performance targets against budget, managing stock, margin, and cost control.
  • Complete relevant administrative tasks, such as safety and legislative compliance checks.
  • Lead and coach the team to ensure they work productively and efficiently.
  • Engage and inspire the team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, cooking 85% of your time, while also managing kitchen standards on health, safety, and hygiene.

Pay Rates

£ per hour - Seasonal Role

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced leader who has a proven track record of managing large teams in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment. You should have experience in managing operations, performance, resources, and cost control. You should be able to confidently deal with guest concerns and resolve problems. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
