Job Title: Culinary Manager

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Manager to join our team at St Oswald's Hospice Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attractive and nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will hold an industry-recognised qualification such as a Level 3 NVQ or AVCE and relevant food hygiene certification. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day rota between 7:30am and 6:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality meals and refreshments to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Catering Team to achieve goals and objectives.

Person Specification:

• Industry-recognised qualification (Level 3 NVQ or AVCE).
• Relevant food hygiene certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. You must have existing right to work in the UK for this role.

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum based on location and experience.
