Job Title: Community Neonatal Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Neonatal Nurse to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Neonatal Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting and implementing practice conducive to the development of high-quality patient care in neonates.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to all staff in hospital and community settings.
  • Ensure continuity across services, providing support and discharge for babies admitted to NICU and Transitional Care going home.
  • Review and assessment of patients at home and prior to discharge home from hospital.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
  • Mentorship preparation programme.
  • Neonatal Qualified in Speciality course or willingness to undertake.
  • Up to date NLS certification or willingness to undertake.
Desirable:
  • Experience of managing and leading a clinical area.
  • Experience of participating in clinical audit or patient reviews.
