Nursery Education Professional

Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team in the Chesterfield area. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge to enhance student growth, creating engaging lesson plans, and maintaining a positive learning environment. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for delivering curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the correct curriculum, ensuring students meet their full potential.
- Prepare students for national assessments and examinations, providing targeted support and guidance as needed.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents to support their learning journey.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students and promote a positive school culture.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively teach a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and other core subjects.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.

- Competitive daily rate: £111 - £179 per day (dependent on experience), inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
