NHS Continuing Healthcare Appeals

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to support individuals affected by dementia in challenging decisions related to NHS Continuing Healthcare. As an experienced advocate, you will empower people affected by dementia during the appeal process, providing comprehensive support, guidance, and empathy.

This role involves:

  • Assisting individuals in gathering and recording information for their appeal
  • Helping them identify necessary documentation and evidence
  • Providing encouragement to attend the appeal
  • Empowering people affected by dementia during this process

You will have good knowledge of the NHS CHC National Framework and the appeals process. If you find completing online applications difficult, please do not hesitate to contact us for support.

This role is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.

The estimated salary for this role is £15 per hour.

Your Role

As a NHS Continuing Healthcare Appeals Support Volunteer, you will be working closely with our team to provide expert support to individuals affected by dementia. Your role will involve assisting with appeals, providing guidance on the NHS CHC National Framework, and empowering people affected by dementia during this process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the NHS CHC National Framework, and the ability to work independently.
