The Role:

As a Release Manager, you'll be accountable for implementing best practice methodologies to adopt agile and dev ops ways of working. You'll collaborate with cross-functional support teams to ensure that all release and software development activities have appropriate ownership, controls, and are executed in line with group policies.

You'll provide full oversight of all release activities across the portfolio, managing software development dependencies and improving time to market. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading performance reviews with key stakeholder groups
  • Establishing and managing appropriate change control processes for the management of code across IAG Cargo
  • Conducting internal functional technology satisfaction surveys and driving continual improvement across the team
  • Proactively contributing to continual improvement across IAG Cargo, specifically in relation to the Operating Model and ways of working
What You'll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of code management and release management methodologies. You'll be well-practiced in agile and dev ops methodologies and have a strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You'll also need excellent planning and prioritisation capabilities, a holistic big-picture view of roadmap and schedule management, and strong risk management skills.

You'll be a confident and resilient individual with an energy to deliver results. You'll also have effective stakeholder management skills and be able to build positive working relationships. Experience collaborating with and presenting to Senior Leadership Team is highly desirable.
