Class 1 Driver Position

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, and maintaining regular contact with the transport team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Dealing with customers
  • Maintaining contact with the transport team
  • Attending regular training sessions

Requirements

  • UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of Fridge trailers preferred but not essential
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
