Teaching Assistant Role at Empowering Learning

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with our experienced teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students
  • Assist students with their learning, providing individualized support and guidance as needed
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Requirements:
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility
  • A passionate, empathetic, and patient nature with a nurturing and inclusive approach to children and their families
  • The ability to develop positive and caring relationships with students
  • Recent experience, skills, or knowledge of supporting children in a school setting would be an advantage
