We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Innserve Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Support purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and service providers.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and contribute to overall budget management.
- Ensure optimisation of company assets to fully and continually satisfy customers' and end users' requirements.
- Maintain suitable economic inventory levels.
- A degree-level education or equivalent.
- A proven track record of achieving results in a supply chain, purchasing, buying, or procurement environment.
- Proven communication skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Detailed knowledge of the procurement process and good negotiation and influencing skills.
- A full UK driving license (ideal).
- Experience with MRP controlled production environments (desirable).
- Strong organisational and planning skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive IT skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with stock management systems would be beneficial.
- A salary up to £28,000 per annum, negotiable on experience.
- Bonus/incentive scheme paid quarterly.
- 23 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum.
- Opportunities to pursue professional qualifications, such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CIPS), and access to advanced training programs in procurement, supply chain management, and negotiation skills.
