Job Description

The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development within our East Anglia team. You will be responsible for managing local CRM systems, planning and attending events, and developing target lists. Your excellent communication skills and creative approach will enable you to build strong relationships with external parties and promote deals through press releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Local CRM Management: Manage, update, and review MS Dynamics to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Events Management: Plan, host, and attend local events, demonstrating creativity and interpersonal skills.
  • Target List Management: Develop and maintain corporate target lists, focusing on top targets.
  • Liaison with External Parties: Establish and maintain relationships with banks, lawyers, and intermediaries, scheduling regular meetings and calls.
  • Team Involvement: Engage the team in business development and marketing initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Pitch and Document Design: Create high-quality pitches and information memoranda, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
  • Deal Promotion: Promote deals through press releases, highlighting your ability to generate buzz.
  • Post Deal Initiatives: Develop and execute post-deal initiatives, driving long-term growth.
  • Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with deal teams to craft compelling content and marketing strategies.
  • Digital Communications: Leverage digital channels to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Team Events: Organize engaging team events, promoting camaraderie and teamwork.
  • Social Media: Manage and create engaging social media content, amplifying our brand's online presence.
  • Award Submissions: Research and submit award entries, showcasing our team's excellence.
  • Brand Guidelines: Ensure adherence to FRP Brand guidelines, maintaining our professional image.
Requirements:
  • Professional Services Experience: A background in professional services is essential.
  • Document Creation: Proven ability to create high-quality documents.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, client service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creativity: Demonstrate your creativity in event planning and idea generation.
  • Teamwork: Showcase your ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Organisation: Proven organisation and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Graphic Design: Graphic design capabilities are highly desirable.

Estimated salary: £45,000 per annum.
