About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team at a special educational need school in the Brighton area. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with SEN and be able to provide high-quality support to pupils with profound multiple learning difficulties, ASC, and ADHD.

About the School:

The school caters for pupils aged 6-16 and offers a unique curriculum that includes core subjects and vocational activities. The successful candidate will be expected to support pupils in a classroom environment and during breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in a classroom environment and during breaks
  • Build rapport with pupils and provide emotional support
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other support staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Ability to build rapport with pupils and provide emotional support
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS check
