Job Opportunity

LAMDA, a world-class drama school and educational charity, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead its MA/MFA Musical Theatre programme. As Course Leader, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and developing the programme, working closely with the Head of Musical Theatre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the programme curriculum, ensuring it meets the highest academic standards.
  • Lead a team of academic staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the programme's success.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure the programme remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in teaching and training in Musical Theatre, with a strong background in one or more areas: Acting, Singing, or Dance.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
