Job Description

We're looking for a talented Data Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data warehousing team, you'll be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing scalable architectures using cloud technologies like BigQuery and Snowflake.

  • You'll create, maintain, and expand our data ingestion tooling, leveraging best practices and open-source technologies.
  • Design scalable, cloud-based data solutions using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Create, maintain, and tune data transformations to improve data quality, availability, and clarity for end-users.
  • Automate processes by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and testing.
  • Utilise BI tools to develop and maintain data dashboards that help teams make smarter decisions.

As a dynamic individual with expertise in data engineering, you'll inspire and encourage adoption of robust data solutions throughout the organisation.

Our estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on your experience.

Requirements
  • Data Engineering: writing Python or dbt to build scalable data pipelines.
  • Data Warehouses: proven experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar.
  • Data Visualisation: visual analytics with Tableau, Superset, Power BI, or similar.
  • Data Tools: exposure to ETL tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow).
  • Cloud: exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP with understanding of Terraform.
  • Problem Solving: passion for solving interesting challenges using the latest techniques and tools in the Data & AI space.
  • Autonomy: ability to work with ambiguous questions and take ownership of problems.
  • Collaborating: excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
