Role Overview:

Blush & Bloom Talent Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Personal Care Formulation Expert to join our team in Yorkshire. In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative formulations for key product areas, including hair care, skincare, and colour cosmetics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimise the properties of existing product portfolios, utilising your scientific expertise to drive technical excellence.
  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify new ways to enhance performance in personal care formulations.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive commercial success, with a strong focus on product development and problem-solving.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve laboratory skills and scientific knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or a related field, with a strong ability to apply scientific knowledge to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent laboratory skills, along with the ability to plan, manage, and evaluate your own workload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • A self-motivated, flexible approach, ready to adapt to changing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
