Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in health and safety management, with a proven track record of developing, reviewing, and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels in safety initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with management to integrate H&S procedures into operational processes and ensure their effective communication and implementation by supervisors and staff. They will also be responsible for ensuring that policies reflect current best practices, legal requirements, and site-specific needs.

The role requires a strong ability to promote and develop a positive, proactive health and safety culture across the sites, engaging staff at all levels in safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead by example, encouraging open communication and feedback from all employees on safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
  • Work closely with management to integrate H&S procedures into operational processes
  • Ensure policies reflect current best practices, legal requirements, and site-specific needs
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety)
  • Proven experience in health and safety management
  • Strong understanding of H&S regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
