Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Animal Team Lead at Hobbledown Heath, a leading zoo in the South East region.

This is a full-time permanent position that requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for animal welfare and husbandry. As an Animal Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the animal team, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare, and promoting excellent guest experiences.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of animal behavior and husbandry practices, as well as experience in managing teams and prioritizing tasks effectively. They will also be able to maintain accurate records, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with colleagues, volunteers, and guests.
