Part Time Care Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to work Monday to Friday. This role involves providing care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Minimum 1 hour visits to clients.
  • Introductions to all clients to build relationships and provide continuity of care.
  • Home Help – assisting with everyday tasks such as tidying, laundry, hoovering and meal preparation/cooking.
  • Companionship – ensuring clients enjoy social interactions daily from chatting, playing games, to going on outings or accompanying to appointments/shopping.
  • Personal care – supporting clients with daily routines such as showering, dressing, grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
  • Medication support – prompting, assisting etc.

Qualifications

Prior care experience is desired but not essential. We are looking for kind and compassionate people like you to join our Home Instead team. Whether you have direct experience in care, personally or professionally, or are just starting out – we offer industry leading training to all of our Care Assistants to help you help others.

  • A caring nature, and the desire to make a positive impact on others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, reliable and adaptable to our clients' needs.
  • A driving license & access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
