Job Title: Commercial Refrigeration Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Refrigeration Field Service Engineer to join our team at TechMet Appointments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining a wide range of industrial refrigeration plants, primarily within the food processing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, and fault-find on a range of equipment.
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems, including ammonia 2-stage systems, secondary chilling systems, water chillers, and large ice machines.
  • Install and commission large industrial plants.
  • Diagnose faults in an effective and timely manner to customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.
  • Sound electrical knowledge and F-Gas qualification.
  • Ammonia Safe Handling qualification (desirable).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of installing, servicing, and maintaining large industrial and commercial refrigeration plants, including cold stores, process chills, and freezers.
