Job Title: Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our project teams offshore for data acquisition and processing onboard our fleet of multi-role survey vessels. As a Surveyor, you will provide support to the surveyor in charge and the Offshore Project Manager onboard during survey operations, as well as supporting field teams during drydock activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Online monitoring of survey equipment
  • Processing and QC of survey data
  • Operation and calibration of DGNSS receivers, USBL acoustic positioning systems, Multibeam echo sounders and other survey systems as required
  • Project planning with other technical disciplines at sea
  • Report compilation
  • Equipment mobilisations and dimension control

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Adaptability, positivity and personal drive
  • Qualification to BSc degree or post graduate qualification in the surveying field
  • Relevant experience in an offshore surveying environment would be beneficial
  • Previous knowledge of any of; GNSS processing, MBES processing, Acoustic Theory, Tidal Theory, or Geodesy would be advantageous
  • Team spirit, dedication and a collaborative work ethic
