We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Urology Reconstruction Team as a Specialist Health Nurse. This role will involve delivering high-quality patient care, acting as a role model for nursing practice across the specialty and Trust.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be motivated, flexible, and have excellent organisational and communication skills. They will also be committed to working with patients who may have challenging and complex healthcare needs.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Delivering high-quality patient care, acting as a role model for nursing practice across the specialty and Trust.
  • Acting as a specialist resource and independent practitioner managing a defined caseload of patients within the agreed scope of practice and taking responsibility for continuity of care.
  • Participating in nurse-led care to clinically assess, examine, diagnose, plan and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with a urological condition including transitional care patients.

Additional requirements include:

  • Flexible to the needs of the service - cross city working.
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Knowledge and experience of transitional care. Knowledge of neuromodulation in urology.

Estimated salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum.
