The Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our team in central Southampton. As a Business Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our office, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and packages
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Assist with document production, binding, laminating, and paginating
  • Manage stock levels and process orders for stationery and IT consumables
  • Maintain the office appearance and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Liaise with contractors and engineers to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Arrange conference facilities and audio-visual equipment
  • Provide reception and events cover, including serving refreshments and food

Requirements:

  • Professional approach and excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new software
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Hours:

36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:00, with varied start times
