Residential Care Specialist for Children's Homes

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Therapeutic Care Worker to join our client's team in Selby and Goole. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children, working in a therapeutic care setting.
About the Role:- Provide personal care and support within a homely environment, assisting with day-to-day tasks such as cooking, cleaning, homework, and driving children to school.
- Manage medication and accompany children to health appointments, collaborating with the wider team to update care plans and conduct risk assessments.
- Plan and deliver activities and events tailored to each child's interests, promoting emotional well-being and development.
Our client understands that children can sometimes become emotionally dysregulated, and you will be provided with all the necessary training, including Team Teach behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
