Research Fellow in Translational Neuro-Oncology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our team in the Hamerlik lab at The University of Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a clinical validation study, developing novel tools and workflows for exploratory analyses and mechanistic studies using animal models, and contributing to training and education activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a clinical validation study, including planning and organising study activities
- Develop novel tools and workflows for exploratory analyses and mechanistic studies using animal models
- Contribute to training and education activities, including attending courses, workshops, and conferences
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across cancer sciences, NHS Trusts, and international collaborators
- PhD or equivalent in biochemistry or molecular biology
- Relevant laboratory experience in molecular, cellular, and tumour biology
- Demonstrable experience in defining and solving research questions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
