Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to join our commercial legal team at Luton Borough Council. As a key member of the team, you will provide advice and representation to the Council in all areas of Contracts & Procurement law.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of cases, delivering comprehensive professional legal advice to various council departments on complex commercial matters, procurement issues, and bespoke commercial arrangements. You will draft contracts, act as legal lead on significant procurements, and develop your specialism with the support of an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a legal advisor to client organizations
• Manage a portfolio of cases, including drafting contracts and providing legal advice
• Act as legal lead on significant procurements
• Develop expertise in Contracts & Procurement law

Requirements:
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with 6+ years PQE
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
