Housing Support Worker – Bournemouth

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £24,962 Per Annum (Base salary £23,962 + £1,000 Unsociable Hours)

Hours: 8 hours per day, with shift patterns and flexibility discussed during the interview. The contract provision is between 08:00 and 22:00.

About the Role:

Nacro, a national Social Justice Charity, seeks a Housing Support Worker to join its team in Bournemouth. As a key member of the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS), you will provide flexible and holistic support to residents with complex needs, helping them find and keep a stable home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to comply with HDC/Bail conditions
  • Develop and implement Support Plans, ensuring unique, inclusive, and person-centred approaches
  • Provide weekly support sessions to engage residents with their Support Plans and contribute to achieving their objectives and aspirations
  • Manage properties to ensure they meet Decent Homes Standard, reporting repairs and replacing furniture and equipment as needed
  • Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required

  • Ability to develop person-centred Support and Move On Plans
  • Understanding of safeguarding
  • Flexibility to travel within your allocated area for training and team meetings
  • Familiarity with computer-based packages
