Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical services department, you will be responsible for assessing damaged products and providing cost estimates to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate returned products for repair or replacement based on pre-defined damage classifications.
  • Create detailed technical reports for customers using digital tools and databases.
  • Communicate with customers regarding technical issues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform minor instrument repairs when required.
  • Assist with stock room operations, participate in physical stock counts, and undertake other administrative duties.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and Technical Services team to deliver exceptional after-sales support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a service or repair role.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
  • Solid numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 DOE and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
