Expert Consultant Opportunity

In Northern Ireland, we are working with a prominent healthcare provider to find a highly skilled Senior Community Mental Health Specialist. This is an excellent chance to join a well-established team in a Trust recognized for its exceptional performance.

The successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary team comprising experienced consultants, trainees, and specialty doctors. Together, they work across primary and secondary community services, providing holistic and assertive care to adults with severe mental illness. The team operates from a community clinic housing Neighbourhood Teams, Early Intervention in Psychosis, and Early Detection of Psychosis Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive mental health support to individuals with severe mental illness
  • To collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • To contribute to the development of community services and improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychiatry or a related field
  • Registration with the relevant medical authority
  • Proven experience in community mental health settings
