About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the team to plan and deliver appropriate individually tailored treatment plans
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with families and carers to provide a comprehensive service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's participation strategy

Requirements

  • MBBS qualification and entry onto the specialist register currently or within 6 months
  • AC status or achievable within 3 months
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent clinical skills using biopsychosocial perspective and wider medical knowledge
