Are you passionate about rare diseases and biopharmaceuticals? BioMarin is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Public Policy Analyst Intern to join our Government Affairs team.

As a Public Policy Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to conduct legislative research, prepare policy documents, and engage in projects focused on federal and state issues that impact the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and the patients we serve.

We are looking for a recent college graduate or graduate student with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team in the summer of 2024. If you are eager to learn and contribute to our mission, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

The Public Policy Analyst Intern will work in a hybrid capacity in BioMarin's office in Washington, DC, with supervision by the Senior Director, Global Advocacy Strategy and Operations within Government Affairs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting legislative research on federal and state issues
  • Preparing policy documents related to legislative activities
  • Engaging in projects focused on biopharmaceutical policy and advocacy

BioMarin offers a stipend range from $21 to $30 per hour, taking into account internal equity and candidate-specific factors.
